The Annual Apex Rotary Christmas Parade is being held on Saturday December 7, 2024 starting at 5:00pm at the intersection of Ambergate Station and The Peakway, heading down Salem Street and ending at the Apex Public Works Buildings on Upchurch St.
Note for WCPSS (Wake County Public School System) Registration: Due to the "Checkout" function on our website, WCPSS computers WILL NOT load the registration site. Please register from a Personal Device/Computer that is not under the WCPSS security protocols or connected to a WCPSS network/internet. If you need additional assistance, please contact us through this site. We apologize for any inconvenience.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All Entries shall be required to READ, UNDERSTAND, and ACKNOWLEDGE the Christmas Parade RULES AND REGULATIONS.

- Parade Registration shall close on NOVEMBER 10, 2024 unless registration fills up prior.
- Registration fee is refundable, less any service charges, up until Registration Closes on November 10, 2024.
- Due to the increased popularity, we will be Capping the number of entries this year. Please signup early to reserve your spot before registration fills up.
- Only 1 Entry shall be allowed per Registration and/or Company. An entry is consider to be a Vehicle/Vehicle+Trailer/Walkers or a Combination thereof. Multiple Vehicles per Entry shall not be allowed. We will be setting up a waiting list if you would like to have multiple vehicles. Entries will be pulled from the waiting list on a first come first served basis till the Parade Cap is met. Add a note that you would like to be added to the waiting list for additional vehicles in the "Additional Comment" section of the Registration.
- Please make sure to add any Special Requests or Needs in the box provided. We will not be able to accommodate any special requests or needs after the lineup has been set. So it is critical that these are added in the registration signup. We understand that most entries want to be as close to the front as possible. This is not a request we can accommodate unless it is related to a health or other special factors that makes this necessary. However, if located upfront is important to your group, please go ahead and note it. We will try to accommodate where possible, but priority will be given to health or other special factors and also in the interest of having an exicting parade.
- The popularity of Parade Entries with music has increased. We cannot guarantee a preference on being adjacent to Non-Music Entries.
- This is a Rain or Shine event. Event will go on regardless of weather. No refund will be issued due to weather.
An Informational Virtual Meeting will be Held for Parade Entries on Monday November 18th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm to answer any questions, review the rules and proceeds, and provide additional information about the parade.
All proceeds will benefit Western Wake Crisis Ministry and, to Honor the Apex Police Department and the Apex Fire Department, proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics NC Torch Run and the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center as well.

FULL COMMERCIAL FLOAT
Full Commercial Float Sponsor. Commerical Trailer, Truck, and Drive to be provided as part of the Entry Fee. Just show up and ride. Everything else is taken care of. You will get select your float from the floats available from the Vendor. The Apex Rotary Club is encouraging businesses to buy floats to sponsor local charities. All proceeds, less float rental cost, will be donated to that charity. A banner will be provided on the float acknowledging the business sponsor for the float.

Business Entry. This level is for Business that want to participate in the parade. (1) Vehicle / Trailer per entry. Walkers are included within this entry as well. Multiple vehicles from the same Business is not allowed unless the parade has not met the Capped. Note if you are interested in being added to the waiting list for additional vehicles in the "Additional Comments" section.

NON-PROFIT GROUPS
Non-Profit Groups. This level is for Non-Profit Groups that want to participate in the parade. (1) Vehicle / Trailer per entry. Walkers are included within this entry as well. Multiple vehicles from the same Non-Profit is not allowed unless the parade has not met the Capped. Note if you are interested in being added to the waiting list for additional vehicles in the "Additional Comments" section.

K-12 BASED NON PROFIT GROUPS
This level is for Non-Profit Groups, specifically for school age children 12th grade & below, that want to participate in the parade. This includes Groups / Clubs from local schools, as well as, child-based community service organizations. (1) Vehicle / Trailer per entry. Walkers are included within this entry. Multiple vehicles from the same group is not allowed unless the parade has not met the Capped.

Candy is a big part of any Christmas Parade for the kids lined up along the route. Please consider helping the Apex Rotary Club by providing a financial donation so we can purchase Candy that will be handed out along the route. Donations start at $1 but can be increased in any increments.

The Apex Rotary Club donates all proceeds from the parade to worth charities. Please consider providing an additional donation to support these groups.
